Navigating your future by researching your past

Are you interested in your Italian family history but you are struggling due to being unable to read or write in Italian, or know where to access Italian genealogy resources?  I can help you!

Using my thirty-five years plus of genealogy research skills and training, I'll start by getting as much information from you as possible to look for clues and begin searching. I'll provide you with an initial research plan based on the information I gather from you, using any timelines and localities possible.  I'll then work to research either in the U.S. or in Italy, based on information you initially provided, and I will document all searches.  As part of the process, I will report my findings and analyses, including any negative searches, in my report to you.  My work will include recommendations for future research.

I hope that by helping you uncover your past, that you are able to better understand where you came from, and use that information towards building your future.

ABOUT ME

I was introduced to genealogy through my aunt around 1981 when I was just 14 years old. I took my newfound love of family history to college and earned a minor in history, and I’ve continued to pursue my genealogical interests through my own research, research for friends and clients, and through earning a certificate in Italian Research through the International Institute for Genealogical Studies.

Aside from researching, I’m passionate about sharing the excitement of genealogy researchers and Italian culture with others.  As a 30 year veteran educator, I see the benefit of learning about one’s past and the connections it has to culture and identity.

I live in Newbury, Massachusetts in the beautiful region known as the North Shore. My hobbies include gardening, cooking, art, photography, Italian culture, and of course, genealogy.
